Cleveland Friends Meeting invites others to join in the Observance of the 100th Anniversary of the Cleveland Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. Friends and attenders of Cleveland Meeting through the years are invited to join us for reminiscing and reconnecting. Please RSVP to cpfarrand@sbcglobal.net. Green Pastures QM Fall Meeting

Green Pastures Quarterly Meeting will hold its Fall Meeting on September 20 at Michigan Friends Center in Chelsea starting at 10 a.m. If you can attend, please bring food for a potluck picnic and swimwear if you’d like to enjoy Friends Lake. This will be a consequential meeting, because we need to decide whether there are Friends willing to take on the task of defining a continuing mission for this organization, or whether we should ask LEYM to consider laying it down.

World Quaker Day
October 5, 2025
Hosted by the Friends World Committee for Consultation.The theme for World Quaker Day, Sunday 5 October 2025, will be “Love your neighbor” with the guiding Bible passage Galatians 5:14: “For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”.
Whether you gather in silence or with song, in unprogrammed, semi-programmed or programmed worship, whether your community is large or small, urban or rural, we invite you to join with others to see what Love can do.

LEYM Spiritual Formation Mystics Group

Participants at the Spring LEYM Spiritual Formation retreat decided we would like to meet regularly on Zoom to continue our exploration of mystics and mystical experiences and to support each other on the journey. Fall Retreat w Shulamith Clearbridge and Paulette Meier

The Broadmead Monthly Meeting Friends Fall Retreat is scheduled for October 24-26, 2025 on the theme Forging Ahead Through Changing Times in Our Community. The facilitators will be Shulamith Clearbridge, a member of Swarthmore Monthly Meeting and an experienced workshop leader, writer and an interfaith spiritual director. She will be joined by Quaker chants singer Paulette Meier. The retreat will be held at the Weber Center in Adrian, MI, at a cost of $190 for a single room and $140 for double occupancy.
