Way back in 1926, Detroit Friends Meeting (DFM) was formally recognized as a monthly meeting after years of presence in the area. You can learn more about their history via this short video, including their long journey to find a new meeting house in Detroit. On September 19th and 20th, 2026, DFM will be celebrating their anniversary (and their new meeting house at 19309 Greenfield Road, Detroit, MI 48235) with an open house and a series of events.
