Come to Broadmead Meeting Retreat on Racism & Privilege Oct.14-16, 2016

Broadmead Monthly Meeting invites Friends to a retreat in Tiffin, Ohio, to explore racism and privilege for a whole weekend.  Claire Cohen from Pittsburgh Monthly Meeting will lead us in this journey.  Her workshop at LEYM’s annual sessions on this very topic was well attended. She had such a short time and yet she made us ponder injustice and acceptance in a very gentle and thoughtful way.

Our retreat will be held at the Tiffin Franciscan Center, a warm and nourishing place run by Franciscan nuns.  Tiffin is on Route 224, 40 minutes east of Findlay and an hour southeast of Toledo. Please consider attending if you are able. Child care will not be provided; mature teens are welcome.

We hope you will join us.
