Workshop with Marty Grundy on "The Quaker jewel of gathered meetings"
May 5, 2024 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
All LEYM Friends are invited to attend a workshop presented by Marty Grundy on May 5 to explore together the Quaker jewel of gathered meetings. Many people yearn for deep spiritual life in community—Friends can offer that. Together we’ll consider questions such as: What makes a meeting gathered? How we can foster gathered meetings for worship within our monthly meetings? How can individual Friends help? What is the role of vocal ministry in gathering a meeting? How do we participate in and support vocal ministry? How do we hear Spirit's leadings for individuals and for the meeting in our meetings for worship?
When: Sunday, May 5, from 1:30 to 4:30
